This Newsletter has updates on the timeline for construction of the new park at the Rodney Reservoir, info about an upcoming garden planning meeting and potluck and more.
WHO WE ARE: Green for the Greater Good is a group of neighbors working to transform the Rodney Reservoir into a beautiful nature-focused park for all to enjoy.
1. RODNEY RESERVOIR PARK CONSTRUCTION UPDATE
As neighbors have witnessed–we have heard from a few of you–construction of the new park at the site of the Rodney Reservoir has been on pause. Green for the Greater Good had the opportunity to meet with City officials last week and learned that indeed, construction has been delayed, mostly due to weather, and the timeline to complete the project has been pushed back to late June or into July.

2. RODNEY RESERVOIR COMMUNITY GARDEN PLANNING MEETING & POTLUCK
Given the longer timeline for park construction, we’re postponing the Gardener Planning Meeting and Potluck. Please stay tuned for a new date when we can meet up to plan the relaunch of the community garden.

3. SIGN UP TO RECEIVE INFORMATION ABOUT HOW TO REGISTER FOR A GARDEN PLOT
We’re committed to making sure residents know how to sign up for plots in the new community garden. Sign up here and we will send out information to this list and through our social media channels as soon as we get information about the process.
